I have been to treatment at four different eating disorder programs, and Opal is the only one to which I would go back, should I need it. They approach eating disorder treatment from a compassionate, holistic, social justice perspective that promotes lasting change. I cannot stress enough that Opal is the only program worth considering in embarking on this important recovery journey!

At Opal we believe that full recovery is possible but it is not an overnight process. A client’s length of stay in PHP and IOP varies widely. We would recommend expecting PHP treatment to be one to four months long. It is customary to have a client that starts in PHP step down to IOP and receive IOP treatment for one to three months. Our recommended path of treatment includes PHP, IOP and OP for most clients to establish a strong start to recovery. Please keep in mind that these are estimates and are dependent on each individuals needs and readiness for treatment.
