Great place. I go with my family at least once a year to go tubing down the Elkhorn. I'll give it it's fifth star once they upgrade all of the campsites to 30 amps. Other than that it's a great place for a great family outing especially when they have live music.

We stay there from oct to Feb it was ok place the Owner there is a sweet man met a few good ppl there the only down fall I seen was they have mud in there water we hooked up the water to our camper and had mud in our shower and kitchen sink so when u shower and washer your hair it felt like mud in ur hair ... Gross. And I thought 400 a month was not bad but the next month it went up 20 it did every month and if ur there in the rainy month look out for a high water and hope u don't have to move ur camper I thought we was gonna have to so in short when the Kentucky River gose up watch out

It was a lovely small Campground and we had a great one night stay. It's very adult friendly but not very child-friendly. If you are looking for a place to relax without the kids this might be the place for you. A little lacking on amenities, no play ground or anything really for the kids. The one item they do have for entertainment is access to the creek for tubing or kayaking. You need to bring your own floating items. It was very obvious that this was a common place for seasonals to pay monthly to stay. Quite a view travel trailers showing their age and connected to wooden porches.

Love camping here. Beautiful place, very relaxing. Perfect for primitive camping. Everyone here is very nice and trustworthy. I'll be going back very soon!!
