My favorite cheap wholesale store! Employees r understaffed an obviously over worked. There is always a waiting time once u get to the register for an employee to arrive an check you out. Dont stop here if ur in a big hurry..

I went in to do some grocery shopping and I needed to pay for most of it when my EBT card and the small balance with my bank card and they were uneducated on how to do a split payment and announced to everyone I should not have come up to the register if I had no money. People were laughing at me. So I left and went to the dollar general store and got everything so much cheaper that all got paid with my EBT card and so it saved my out of pocket money

I've always had good experiences with family dollar until recently. I tried pay with $100 bill because it was all I had on me. I was informed by Daina, who was working the register that she didn't have 60$ to give me in change because she had just came in an hour before and Id just have to put my stuff back. She didn't even try to get into the other register or ask a co-worker for change, just turned me away. Maybe family dollar does things differently but if that's the case then there should be a sign on the door saying they don't accept $100 bills. Diana was extremely rude to me and when I asked for a manager she claimed she was one and proceeded to be smart and rude. If family dollar allows their managers to be rude and hateful then I will not use this family dollar again.
