Was greeted and felt welcomed when we checked in despite the fact it was late. The lady setting up the breakfast was super sweet and very nice. She helped my daughter make her waffle. Our room was clean and the air worked really well (I actually couldn't get it to 72-it stayed around 68 but that wasn't a problem for me). I'm hopeful in the future a facelift will happen to update the rooms and carpet removed. Thank you for the great service and a great stay!

Good for the price. Pretty good breakfast. Pool was cloudy as mentioned by others. Having small kids who like to play on the steps it was nice that they go across the whole pool. Plenty of towels in the pool area. We had an issue at check in where the room I was sent a confirmation about wasn't “available” and I was “booked” a smaller room. They ended up putting us in the 2 double bed room with sitting area. Air conditioner in room leaked on floor. Carpet needs a good shampoo and furniture could use it too, but linens were clean and like I said, okay considering the price.

Our (family of 5) experience staying at the Comfort Inn in Evansville, Indiana was absolutely terrible. The first night our room was disgustingly dirty, the chair had something spilled all over it, nothing had been wiped down, smelled like smoke, the toilet didn’t flush and to top it off we had NO HOT water. We asked to change rooms which we were moved one floor exactly above our first room. This room was ok for night two, but then at 8:00am we were called and asked to move rooms again due to a water pipe bursting. They moved us to the room right next door, two feet away! This room again was gross, toilet didn’t flush, just plain nasty. Not to mention the horrific smell and terribly dirty rest of the hotel (hallways, elevator, breakfast area, pool, etc.). Upon checking out, I asked to speak to the manager who apparently wasn’t there (supposed to be there later) and left a message for them to call me. I called back at 6pm and he still wasn’t there (never showed up). Also, apparently the manager is also the owner. Here we are three days later and I have yet to hear from them. Talk about bad business and lack of customer appreciation. I will never go back and will make it known that no one else should go their either.

Positive: Indoor pool and the king suite was a decent size. Dennys was nice and close. Negative: The toilet didn't fill without having to give the fill valve a tap and there was only 1 small trash can for the entire room. Bathroom was rather small too. The main entrance/exit to the property is very rough!
