Restaurant was clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and inviting. One person in our party ordered a ham steak expecting a plate-sized reasonably thick steak like we buy at the store. He was disappointed when the plate came out with 2 thinly sliced(like thick sandwich meat rather than a ham steak) pieces of ham that were not enough to fill him up. The other person in our party ordered the french toast with strawberries. The French toast is very delicious and there was no need for syrup. I really appreciate the fact that they offer turkey sausage in addition to the pork sausages. I do not eat pork and often get frustrated when there isn't an alternative for those of us who don't/can't eat it for various reasons! Overall lesson learned not to order a ham steak next time, and we will definitely come back next time we are in town.

This place sucks! I’ve been in there twice in the last couple of months and it’s almost impossible to get seated or waited. I know there’s a shortage of help but the people working at this place don’t even attempt to pick up the slack. I love Bob Evans and I love the biscuits and gravy but I will never go back to that place. If it was a one time thing I’d be OK. The restaurant down the street is packed and there was just a few cars at Bob Evans and now I know why

Today I was reminded why I stopped going to this restaurant. Chicken is burnt, biscuits burnt, and the bottle of honey was already open.

Initially walked in and landed at the host podium and... Nothing. No one was there. An employee behind the counter skittered by avoiding eye contact. Standing around a couple minutes and just when I was about to throw in the towel and go elsewhere finally a gal trudged over and resignedly confirmed our party number. Pretty worried at this point this is how the whole experience will turn out. Table was still damp from being wiped down so that was a good safety feature. We haven't been out to eat breakfast in a year! Thankfully our server was great! She was very attentive and courteous. The food was good, came out fast and toasty. Coffee was wonderful! A passing server with a carafe even offered a refill, tho we weren't her table. So the servers def made up for the lackluster greeting.
