My nephew Eddie Gardner is missing since 3/13/22. The last time he was seen he was driving a 2021 white dodge charger rented from Romeo- Bollingbrook Hertz. Our family pleaded with Hertz to help track the car and they refused. We now need to get the Cook County States Attorney to subpoena Hertz. Our family & friends will never do business with Hertz again.

I’m slightly confused how I reserved a car a month in advance paid for it and everything and they call me a day before saying the car I reserved isn’t available. What did I pay for then? Thanks for letting me know at last minute. Thanks Shannon you were no help.

Had my local rep from Ohio schedule the car rental, but when I arrived I waited just shy of two hours to leave the location. The two staff members that day were rude, did not greet me for nearly 30 minutes and the one was even trying to send me away to another location. The gentleman did not think they had any full-size cars, when they did, and proceeded to wait on hold with another location until I spoke up. Later in the week, I had a flat tire and continued to have bad customer support. Since there was no spare tire, it ended up taking me six plus hours, several locations and multiple phone calls to even get a replacement. Let along I missed me meeting and ruined my night. Then, when I went to return the car, I had issues with the rates being different than what corporate told me over the phone and I was returning two days earlier. Last, I realized that my rental was for a “full-size car,” and I ended up with a “mid-size car” twice. For now, this will be my last Hertz rental as I have already setup a business account with Enterprise Car Rental. If I was in management in this area, I would be investing in support training ASAP!

I’m only rating this experience a 2 because the initial representative I dealt with was amazing and he was quick and time efficient. When I initially rented the car, there was a female representative who was the one responsible for cleaning the rental car before I was handed it. She did an abysmal job, the inside wasn’t cleaned properly. He was taking care of all the customers at this time. When I went to return my rental, it took forever due to the fact that the same female representative was dragging and taking her sweet time, flirting, talking about her life with the elderly man who wanted his rental washed. Were it not for another representative who kindly asked me how my day was and took care of my return, this process would have taken forever.
