The updates to the seating are wonderful. Even the non-reclining seats are comfortable. Love that my kids can get popcorn and drink refills too.

Wish to learn how and why an individual can become "Blacklisted" from the NCG Cinema Monroe, NC. This cannot be a favorable PR policy or maneuver. In fact, it is the opposite. Pretty sad when an innocent 19 year old accompanied with friend and grandma are not permitted to visit local theater. Reason unknown. Manager Kim will not return phone calls and upper management non-respondent to messages too. The professionalism and maturity of local management has reached the "Peter" principle and the immaturity in experience bares witness new management is necessary to the local Monroe NC theater. Because of the unprofessionalism and immaturity of management at this establishment when one manager can "blacklist" a paying customer and keep from enjoying movies and refreshments with no valid reasoning, in my humble opinion is unacceptable.

I loved the setup and the smaller theaters. Super clean theater, choice of seats during ticket purchase. I gave a 4 star because all through the whole movie last night in theater 2 the air handler was chirping and squeaking and making all kinds of background noise during the movie it was very annoying. Other than that pretty cool place.

I've been a big fan in the past. Low prices. Not too crowded. Love the recliners! Free refills too. I was disappointed this time that you have to pick your seating from a chart. This makes no sense, except for the fact that they want to charge you $2 more for a recliner now. And me and my husband both heard the guy say that all the cheap seats were already sold out but yet there was literally only us and one other couple in the entire room. Of course we wanted recliners anyway, but just be prepared for this. The seats have been replaced since we last went and there are fewer recliners than before. Most of the seats are regular small theater seats. The new recliners are very nice though and have a tray for your snacks. Literally they could just ask if you want to pay $2 more for a recliner instead of the whole chart thing. It's so awkward. How can you tell what seat you want from a chart? You can't.
