This dollar general in Benson the parking lot is always a mess and trash scattered all over and the staff is so rude

Literally 3/4 of the store's isles were full of boxed product. You couldn't even walk down some of them. I said hello to multiple staff only for them to look and ignore me and they seemed to be very unhappy to be there. This has been a issue every time I've been to this dollar general. Shelves empty, isles full and blocked off by unboxed product and nothing I was looking for was there. Even if it was, it is probably still boxed up and not put out.

Be careful getting gas here. I was double charged at the gas pump. I waited for it to clear and post to my account before I called. The lady I spoke to at the store said she couldn't do anything to help me without a receipt. Only thing is their pumps are always out of receipt paper. Thankfully my bank refunded the money to me. On a good note I do find the store quick and convenient, and I do like shopping here.

I stop by here sometimes to grab quick things on my way home. Apparently the last time we were there, the cashier mistakenly sent us home with a bottle of wine. When I got home I didn't think anything of it. I figured my husband had put it on the counter when I wasn't paying attention. Several days later we realized neither of us had meant to get the bottle of wine, but we didn't think anything else about it. This was at least a couple weeks ago. Tonight when we stopped, an employee (manager maybe?) came and asked us if we had left with a bottle of wine. We had totally forgotten until then. I said "oh yea we did by accident apparently " and she said "I know. I saw it on camera. My cashier accidentally put it in your bag and you didn't bring it back." I explained that we didn't even know it was a mistake for days and totally forgot about it. She then proceeds to tell us that she has the right to charge us for the wine if she wants to but that she will just let us bring it back. She was totally rude about it. She spoke to us as if we stole it. It was the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen in my life! It is NOT my job to take care of their mistake and it certainly isn't my job to inconvenience myself to take back an item that I didn't even want. By the way, neither of us drink wine but it will sit atop my fridge for ETERNITY before I take it back.
