We tend to stop here every time we are in Myrtle. We really enjoy their food! It was a touch busy on a Saturday night, but they put us on the list and we ran a quick errand before coming back just in time for our text. Our waiter was great, the drinks were cold and the nachos were amazing as usual! The were filled with no "naked" chips and super delicious!! I would def recommend!!

We visit here quite often. Off season this place is a must. Quiet - but great nachos. On season we still visit but it can become quite crowded - be patient ... it is worth the wait. This visit was on 3/27/2022 at 6ish pm. There were 5 of us. My wife & I on 1 check, my niece, sister-in-law & brother-in-law on another. This was no problem for the waitress. Place was busy but no problem with seating. We had a margarita, pork chimichanga, 2 sloppy burritos and some nachos. Food was hot and tasty. I prefer the sloppy burrito over the chimichanga as the burrito has rice and fillings in it - the chimichanga is just meat. Was very pleased with the service and food. My favorites here are the hipponachomous nachos and the fajitas. They also have good churros if you save room for dessert. The staff here is almost always attentive and personable. The food tasty. The atmosphere is fun with a uniquely decorated beach vibe. If you're looking for something other than the usual beach fare give them a try.

Overall a good experience. The hostess almost seemed annoyed to be seating us and figuring out where to put people. After that our waiter Davis was awesome. Food was good with good portions, minus the fajitas. Those were on the lighter side. Taste good, just more of the extras than the meat/peppers & onions. I would stick to burrito or nachos.

We had a party of 7, including two children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I would recommend going with one of the nacho options. The spicy shrimp nachos were excellent! They were piled high and layered. They come in two sizes, individual and sharable. The size pictured is the individual size is the picture I posted. As you can see, it's a HUGE portion! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food. Prices were very reasonable!

They were just a week ago!
Hey Thomas. We actually don't run a happy hour through the summer months. Follow our page on Facebook or Instagram for when that will start back up this fall. We do have $3 margaritas, all day everyday though.
Hi Jackie, we do have bands every Friday night for the off season months. Jan 18 is BJ Craven, Jan 25 is David Fair, and Feb 1 is Nick Andelora. All of these are great solo acts that put on a great set of live music. Times may change, but the music is set from 6pm to 10pm.
I am not sure they have this.
Sometimes restaurants are forced to buy/borrow different brand ingredients. Sometimes they change recipes all together. Hippo is owned by Divine Dining Group, managed by Britton. Email them your complaint and you should have an answer/resolution in no time.
