I'm not what you'd call a drinker🍺🍷🥃, what I purchased was for medicinal😷⚕️ purposes only; and yes, people still do that. So, when I went in, I had no idea what I was buying. There were two ladies behind the counter that were very friendly & helpful in my search. The store offered a very wide variety and was nicely stocked and easy too find. *Recipe for my HOT TODDY 1 Pint of Rum (any brand will do) Water (Boiling) Tea bag of choice (I use organic honey vanilla) Honey (preferably local) Lemon juice (preferably 100%, but any will do) 1. Choose any type of organic tea (such as chamomile, lemon, etc.) or just a typical black tea tea bag, place bag in coffee mug. 2. Boil water in pot or kettle, pour over tea bag, fill cup about 1/2 full (allowing room for other ingredients) 3. Allow bag too steep for 5 minutes 4. While tea is still steeping add 1 heaping Tbsp of honey, this allows honey to melt and easily distribute throughout the tea. 5. After bag has steeped remove bag, then add a Tbsp of lemon juice, 1 regular size shot glass of rum and stir. **Drink elixir while still hot or very warm. I find the warmer it is the easier it is to go down. When adding rum feel free to add more than one shot, but the idea is not to get drunk but to break up any congestion and bring down any fever that is accompanied with influenza or your typical cold or virus. We have used this elixir in our family since we were children and it has always worked for us. It's not a 100% guarantee, but like I said it has worked for us, and the taste is tolerable.
