First question why is the diner is full but half the tables are closed off with everyone brunched together on one side of the diner . Food is great love the cooks they are always GREET you! Which people love smh I’m not from North Carolina I’m here on a business trip for a month and this was the closest. The older waitress are all great however the young one seem to care less. This one girl stood out because I waited 5 mins before I had to someone to take my order she had pink hair with glasses but would just stare and just continue cleaning while continuing to walk pass me even tho I’m the only one standing at the register. I’m not sure if she doesn’t like her job but I literally tip over 15dollars or higher to the first person that helps me and they are always shocked. Then I had a young man take my order last week he must have been new because he look around after 10 minutes before calling out my order. I think higher up some be doing reviewing employee work because I’m from here and I see that problem. You need to be happy. Where are the division and area manager at ??

Amazing staff!!! Great food!!! This was our first time at Waffle House and we had a very helpful server. She was super kind and very cheerful. Our food was cooked to perfection! It was an amazing experience! Thank you for the great atmosphere and dinner!

ALWAYS closing at random times for cleaning in the early morning hours. Y’all realize people do eat between 230am-6am. Truck driver here who usually gets in in the wee hours of morning and would like to pick up breakfast on the way home. Doesn’t matter what time I go, every single Waffle House around here is closed for cleaning. Just shut the doors and stop claiming you’re open 24hrs. Always get some wanna be security guard or rude waitress yelling we’re closed, go to one of the others. Can’t when all of them are closed.

This was a great Waffle House! The staff was the nicest I’ve come across in a very long time. Tammy was my server and she was awesome! The chef cooked my omelette and hash browns scattered all the way and it was mind numbing perfection. I will be back every time i pass through Hickory!
