Overall weird experience. Onions were rotting and literally covered in gnats and flies. More than that they lock the carts at the front door? If you parked on the street they have to come unlock it but don’t have an employee up there waiting. So you try to leave and the cart locks, someone finally comes to unlock and then says you need to bring the cart back. The female security guard working on this particular day felt the need to say “your welcome” when I returned the cary because I didn’t immediately thank her for doing her job I guess? Won’t come back here mostly due to that but the selection of food was also lacking.

Open early, open late, free flu shots, decent prices, always clean and stocked. Helpful staff. Bakery items are delicious.

How could it be that there's only one entrance in and out of this particular Safeway? People literally knock each other over to enter and exit the store. Isn't that a fire hazard? Otherwise, I love the deli. I'm referring to the Safeway at Rivertowne Commons in Oxon Hill, MD.

A very good grocery shopping Mart for your daily needs. The store is a full service store that has flowers, pharmaceutical Isle, bakery, stationary, meat, all sort of condiments, a large section of organic fruits and vegetables. The Safeway also has a redbox in the complex. In order to use the deals they offer, one needs to enroll in their Safeway rewards program and register through their app. Most of the deals are accepted by scanning through their app on your phone. The prices are competitive with other orders around. On the China side, you will have a tough time finding a parking for your car. So, plan accordingly.
