We have stayed at alot of Holiday Inn Expresses and this one is by far the worst. From the smell and rude employees. The lobby was blocked off and you were not allowed to hang out or watch TV. We went to the pool Friday but it was closed Saturday all day because the manager did not like the guests who were staying so she punished the entire hotel. The rooms smelled horrible and i even cleaned out my air conditioner filter as it was plugged up with filth. The blinds didnt work and were all broken. There was a blood stain on the white bed sheets. You could not get coffee as stated the lobby was roped off and you were not allowed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Just returned from a weekend trip to Hershey are with my family. I have to say, of all the hotel stays ( and we have used other Holiday Inn Express hotels many times in the past with great satisfaction) this one was the worst. A single elevator, that had a safety mode activated, would get stuck on a random floor if the door was touched and had to be manually reset every time by a reception area staff member. My 70 year old father-in-law, who has a bad back and has issues climbing stairs, had to climb up and down the staircase several times. To make things worse, the staff “disabled” the lobby’s seating area by flipping the furniture around and taping it off limits, so he couldn’t even sit down and catch a breath. The outdoor pool as well as the fitness center were also labeled “out of order” to prevent a few sports teams and the rest of patrons from using them. 9pm (!) quiet time was imposed on all. Express hotels have breakfast included in the price of stay - well, the drink dispenser and the pancake machine were out of order leaving options very limited. To top it all of, the room’s bathroom smelled like a urinal and the shower head was probably never washed as it had a thick layer of pink gunk all over it. Never again will I give this hotel my business!

Terrible! The front desk had two women working, one that was kind and one that sat around but seemed to call the shots . Our room had no fridge so we asked to switch to a room with a working fridge but the new room smelt of mildew and old cigarettes so we asked to check us into the previous room and have them put in a mini fridge. The kind front desk girl said not a problem but the lazy one that didn’t seem to care said they couldn’t do it. In the end they did it which didn’t make any sense… Honestly I don’t know how there are any positive reviews about this place. Turn around and go somewhere else. No one seems to want to do their job or even care to work….it’s not even a busy place….

Positive: The location and the staff was very nice and pleasent down to the cleanup crew. The hot meal served was nice as well. Negative: Toilet ran alot. I had to fix it myself. The $50 charge for incidentals last for 5 days before I can get my money back was very upsetting to me.
