Really enjoyed beef dip sandwich, Smoked turkey melt sandwiches. Good carrot cake, Chips & tea. Fast, friendly service.

I’ve had long wait times and rude wait staff before, but yesterday was quite ridiculous. I’m completely fine with waiting, but waiting for 30+ minutes for my food to come out wrong is unacceptable, not to mention one of the sandwiches had been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes by the time I kept track and was hard and cold. I told the employee what was wrong and without saying a word she grabs the bag from me, walks to the back, and starts mocking me with how I described what was wrong with my food. My food came back out and it was wrong AGAIN, but was fixable with condiment packets myself so I went up to ask for that and the employee sighed heavily and said ‘what is it now.’ I have a right to get what I paid for correctly. Your employee was out of line and I can’t imagine what she would be like with a genuinely rude, upset customer.

McAlister's was a quick sandwich stop for us. It's conveniently located right off of I-64, has ample parking if towing anything, and outdoor seating. The club sandwich was fine, nothing outstanding for a deli chain. It came with a side item, but unfortunately, a cup of soup was an upcharge of an additional $3.29. That didn't seem reasonable for a cup so I opted for the mac and cheese (which was also okay). With so many other options in Waynesboro, it wouldn't be my first choice. However, we would return if we had the dogs with us and were towing the camper. The lady that waited on us was very welcoming and provided good customer service.

Love McAlister's. Plenty of places to sit. Clean bathrooms. The food comes pretty quick. Nice environment but a little chilly sometimes if you're cold natured like myself. Although I pretty much stick to what I know on the menu, everything has been good. Tea can be a hit or miss. Always look forward to going back.
