I give it four stars because it's an eye doctor. Like there's lots of 'em and I'm sure this one is as good as the next. I will also attest to varying levels of customer service witnessed and experienced. Take your dollars somewhere else. But, hey, it's just the eye doctor. If he doesn't care how his staff treats people, we must be in Seattle. Garbage here at the front desk.

Cornelius was very helpful and even fixed my missing nosepad on my old glasses. Great customer service!

My experience was pretty good. I was helped by a young woman, I think her name was Alyssa. She was helpful and kind. While waiting for my number to be called I observed varying degrees of customer service, so I was happy to get a decent associate. The frames selection was pretty good. I had just returned a pair to Warby Parker because they didn't fit my face comfortably. I found two pair here at Costco and bought them both. The glasses were ready in less than a week, so I was happy with the time frame. Overall a good experience. As a former customer service manager I like to report good service when I can.

Arrived 10 minutes early than scheduled appointment tine. Had to call a family member for some insurance information. Receptionist rudely states that if I don't get insurance info within next minute, they would have to reschedule me. After I recieved the eye exam, I was told that my insurance (VSP) would not cover the eye exam. I had called the day before to confirm whether or not my insurance covered the eye exams and was told it would be covered. Receptionist offered very little explanation of how VSP insurance at costco works and told me I needed to pay out of pocket. I then moved over to the optical center to select a new pair of glasses. When I brought my selected pair to the counter to purchase them, a woman ringed them up on her computer along with my insurance information. I was told that the original cost would be $120 for the frames and lenses, but would actually cost $65 with insurance. When she attempted to ring up the payment, she failed to include the frames insurance information. She attempted to call VSP to cancel the order, but was unable to. I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay the $120 or cancel my order and come back another. The staff member never once apologized or took responsibility for her mistake. All told, I spent 2 hours at the costco eye center and was frustrated nearly the entire time. Do not come here for glasses or eye exams.
