I had a great experience at Dandy’s. From the minute I walked in the door, I knew the haircut was going to be good. My stylist was Jimmy. I booked online through their portal and showed up for my appointment. Jimmy took me in right on time; I was happy with how prompt it was. Before cutting my hair, we walked through the texture, how I usually do it, and any fears I had as it was my first haircut here in the Bay Area. I did have a big work trip coming up, so I was a little worried. Jimmy knew exactly what to do and helped me get the look I wanted. During the haircut, he would stop and check if everything was okay. He blew my expectations away and he also gave me a haircut that I can now tell to other barbers. The level of professionalism here is great. Pricing is fair and the haircut is well worth the value. Definitely recommend this barbershop to anyone in the area. Will be coming here again!

I just had a great experience with this shop and it’s owner. We went to there and were told not accept any new guest. The worker from shop understood our disappointment, explained the day was fully booked and gave us a chance to talk the owner. Here was what I heard from the owner: 1. He apologized for any inconvenience; 2. He explained this shop requires reservations and today was fully booked. 3. He would like to correct the AD if there is walk-in stated in AD. 4. He offered to pay for the hair cut if I can accept an appointment in next day. I accepted. An appointment in next day was followed after his phone.I was quite impressed, appreciated what they did and ended up here.

We got our haircut at Dandies Barber Shop and it was one of the best barber shops we have ever been to. The owner was friendly and easy going. His barber Jimmy took his time to give us the best haircut, unlike other barber shops that rush through the process. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a good barber shop in Mountain View or South Bay Area.

I absolutely love Dandies. I just moved to Mountain View and needed a new barber to help maintain my undercut. Jimmy is the best, he takes the time to listen and hear my half formed ideas. I started with a basic undercut and then I asked him to line it up to include a triangle shape on the back of my head. Then it progressed to putting in designs and Jimmy does it flawlessly. He always asks if there’s any areas that need more attention and will work until everything is perfect.
