My grandmother stays here every time she comes to visit. The owner is very nice, charming, and personable. The rooms are clean and neat. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on a budget.

Loved our stay... very cheap and room was super clean. No musty motel smells and the lady who checked us in was a doll! Great location and not far from Moraine State Park...which is why we were up there my husband and I. We were touring waterfalls up here and got in over 10 amazing falls and had a blast! Great place to come back too...coffee pots..ice..fridge free wifi etc. Awesome place!!

2 nights stay, Sept. 26,27, 2014 I give Evening Star four stars only because it has no amenities. However, I did not want nor expect any and was very happy with my stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was pleasant, clean and the bed was comfortable. It is located 2 miles from Slippery Rock and was a convenient location for Homecoming activities. The price was right! extremely reasonable in comparison to in-town accommodations, 1/3 the cost.
