We had a small private party of 10 with a limited menu. I had the Filet and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Dessert was amazing as well. High class setting and gorgeous decor and ambiance! Great for a romantic dinner and right next to PNC Park.

My wife and I loved this restaurant. First, the service was amazing. Cristian our waiter, was great. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time in Pittsburgh and Cristian was more than willing to give us recommendations on where to visit while in Pittsburg. The food was amazing, my wife and I loved our steak.

My wife and I celebrated our 49th Wedding Anniversary having their excellent steaks. I had the Ribeye and my wife the New York Strip. They were absolutely delicious and we celebrated previous years at Hyde Park.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Hyde Park steakhouse. We stopped to get a quick bite and a cup of coffee without a reservation. We were going to just sit at the bar but there happen to be a table open outside and we were properly seated. We both got coffee and french fries and they were excellent. I highly recommend them. This is a great place to Come before or after a game or a special occasion. Gmr

High tops are tall tables usually found in bars. The table top is usually the same hight as the bar

On Pittsburgh game day yes otherwise you feel out of place.
If you have to ask...lol...our check is between $200-$275+tip with 2 entree's, 2 salads or 1 hors d'oeuvre, 2 sides, and 4 bar drinks on average every time we eat at a hide park, for us it's about twice a month... so we have a good idea of what we spend...hope that helps (chop salad is great fyi)
