I’ve been going to Ken’s Camera for my film, development, lighting, darkroom supplies, equipment, and accessory needs for the past three years. Every time I’ve stepped into the store, Eric and Barbara have always been there to assist me with my purchases, answer questions and offer sapient advice. Their warm hospitality makes me feel like a valued customer and keeps me coming back regularly.

(Edit - Oops, meant to post this for the Mt Vernon location my bad!) Love this place! Went through their drive thru recently to drop off and pick up (the next day) my first rolls of developed film. They were super clear and helpful. I got the developed film back and they gave me a USB with scans on it. They also gave me the option to get prints from them but I declined because I didn’t know how good the photos would turn out, so can’t speak to the prints. The prices aren’t exactly ‘cheap’ but in terms of film development, they’re extremely fair and reasonable especially for the short turn around. They even gave me the option to pick up that day but I had a few more errands to run so I went with next day. Would highly highly recommend if you’re from snohomish/skagit/whatcom/island county and looking for a place to develop your film, get back your negatives, all within 24 hours or less. It’s so so hard to find places that’ll process your film in less than even 2 weeks, so it’s amazing this place is still around. Definitely worth a visit if you’re developing film, I drove 45 minutes one way just to check it out and it was completely worth it.

On a recent vacation, my camera fell off my tripod and into a stream. It would not power up. I took it to Ken’s Camera to let them look at it. They offered to take it to the shop, but as I was headed home the next day I couldn’t leave it. The staff went above and beyond to assist with recommendations, and went so far as to wrap it in a bag with a bunch of silica gel packs and told me to open it when I got home. It worked!! They didn’t charge me a dime. Highly recommended!

My business partner and I just visited Ken's Camera with a tripod we'd bought there some time ago. Good tripod, but a leg had come loose and fallen off. We'd gone in to see if they could fix it, not knowing how much they would charge. Without a moment's hesitation they found a full-on replacement and handed it to us still in its box, no fuss, and certainly no hassle. Their courteous and considerate customer service blew our minds. We'll definitely continue to go to them with future company needs!

Yes the Canonet 28 uses 35mm film which we still process in house. We can also convert your Mini DV tape to either DVD or USB.
Yes, they do, and at Ken's Camera, they have a drive through for drop off and pick up for developing/printing
We are requiring everyone to wear a mask before entering the store and have markings on the floor to help gauge six foot social distancing. No kiosk usage at this time but our website kenscamera.com accepts digital photo orders
Hi Shane, We do indeed scan and print from slides. Scans to USB or CD are $1.00 each with a minimum of 10, and prints from slides are $1.99. Most orders can be completed within a day, large orders a little longer. Hope to see you soon!
Hi Michelle, Yes we do. Thank you for your interest and hope to see you soon.
No
He fixed a camara of mine. I recommend him.
Ken's Camera is not a portrait studio. They sell digital cameras - also develop and print color film.
