A popular (busy) interesting place, though food not so interesting. What is the best? Definitely the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is bar-like. Loud, plenty of screens above. You can watch games though most people seem to watch each other and their food. If you are not into sports, this place will provide endless objects of interest in the form of the locals, sometimes not too appetizing (like the girl who eats with her mouth open or another who likes showing her finger "birds" to others). The food is quite a disappointment. I tried their burger and hot wings. The burger was bland, not as succulent as I expected and like. The wings were big--that's the best part of them. The meat was positively dry, even though each wing was externally doused with a generous amount of red, spicy, though fairly flavorless sauce. Overall, an OK place.

I frequent many Roosters around the Columbus-area regularly. I stopped into the Newark location because we were visiting friends out of town and wanted a quick bite to eat. The hostess sat us at a table that had not been cleaned and it still had the check from the last customer. We waited about 10 minutes at that table as the wait staff kept walking past us. No one made any contact with us or attempted to clean off the table. So, we got up and sat at the bar. The bartender looked at us, then continued talking about her personal life to another couple sitting at the bar. We waited for another 10 minutes at the bar, as she laughed about what she did last night and other servers walked in and out of the bar. Finally, I asked the young bar back if he could get someone to serve us. He asked the bartender, she gave him the hold on finger and then he found another lady. After getting our drinks it took another 15 minutes to order our food from the bartender. She started taking the orders of those sitting around us that sat down later than us. The food took about 45 minutes to get. We were never checked back up on…while sitting at the bar 🙄 After I asked for the check by hollering across the bar, she came over and asked if wanted more drinks. We said no, because we wanted to get the hell out of there and our drinks were empty during our meal anyways. The restaurant was not extremely busy, the food was not as good as other locations and the service was terrible! If you want to try Roosters give another location a try before this one ruins your experience.

Absolutely atrocious service!!! I came in with my GF and we were greated by a very rude young lady who lead us to a booth that still had some trash in it from the last patrons. After a few minutes a waitress approached us and took our drink orders, she brought us out the wrong drinks and then complained when asked to bring new. We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower for an appetizer and it was delicious followed by our entree of 2 wraps and a pepperoni pizza. The food was amazing, but the nasty hostess and the bartender who yelled at the poor busboy really ruined our experience.

Roosters on 21st Street in always a good time. The food is always good and always served with a smile. The bartenders are friendly, the area is clean, and the music is loud. Come on in and enjoy yourself and some good food.

Yes! They may even have a gluten free menu or section...I cannot remember, but there are plenty of gluten free options.
They do catering. They also have a 50 wing pack you can get for pick-up.
Yes but you have to substitute the chicken out of the wraps for shrimp
