The place is great, but a few major issues. These are issues on the race track. Basically, the turf is a huge problem. Horses race on that turf and get injured. A lot of injuries to horses and jockeys happen on that turf. They need to either fix it or tear it down. Also with the condition book, they never change it up, it’s always the same exact races. It’s kinda lousy. But yet again, I don’t own a racetrack so I wouldn’t know what it is like. I also don’t like how the first race starts at 7:00 at night. Now onto the positive: It is free to enter the racetrack and watch unless it is West Virginia Derby. I also like how you can watch the horses walk in the paddock. They also have a great announcer. That is all for my review. It’s a pretty nice place. It’s a good track for horse racing

This casino is disappointing in many ways. They have minimal staff, which is greatly affecting their operation. Very few table games open. Restaurants running on short schedules if open at all. The casino was so cold I had to go put on multiple layers to even sit and be comfortable. I also had to leave with chips in my pocket because their cage doesn't open until after we needed to check out of the hotel. We would have stayed and waited for the cage to open if there was anything to do but they didn't have a breakfast restaurant to go to or slots to play until 9:00 in the morning. If you're looking for a typical casino experience, this is NOT the place to go. The hotel room was fine.

My family and friends all enjoy our visits here. I cannot review the hotel part, because I have never stayed there over night. We enjoy the gambling that is offered. Very wide selection of games, and they offer something for everyone and every budget. It all depends on how you like to play. Friendly staff, and they do have table games and races as well as slots, and keno. Very worth a visit, go and check it out for yourself!!

It changed back to smoking on the casino floor only. For all you non smokers..if you don't like it stay home. They lost so much business making it non smoking because the vast majority of gamblers smoke. Before they went to non smoking they had 2 non smoking areas that took up 35% of the casino floor and nobody was ever in them. It's real simple..if you don't like it don't go

There's actually 2 pools.The pool inside also has a like a 8 person hot tub,pretty big and really hot,indoor pool is heated as well.and its correct,you need to stay because it requires a room key to enter,unless you find a nice person willing to open the door for you.and they're is a outside pool as well,im not sure,but i don't think its heated.but they're is also supplied towels to both pools.hope this helps...
