The employees are so nice. It's a very small group of employees they have been there through covid. The few employees have kept the store running on a skeleton crew

Friendly and helpful staff, big parking lot, and a lot of great inventory (including Chinese food!) but there are a few checkout machines that were down and seem to have a lot of constant problems.

When I go to Safeway it is to shop the sales and gain rewards. Once you catch on to how it works, it is easy to set up the deals on your member card. I like getting FREE items and saving large amounts on my orders. On my last two orders I saved half of the total purchase.

Check you're receipt before you leave. I have an issue almost every time I shop here. It's a good store for getting quality except the chicken in the deli. I've only bought it a handful of times but haven't been able to eat it once. It's always so dried out that it looks like slivers.
