David Matz

Larger than average Safeway with adequate parking. They have a nice mix of fresh produce. I frequently experience the staff as friendly. There is a good sized deli and hot food area. **Today a produce clerk why our of her way to scag a product from the back despite being in the middle of a few tasks. Beaver fans can pick up some GameDay swag along with their favorite tailgating items.

It's a regular, run of the mill grocery store, except the only small size (12-24 oz) cold non alcoholic drinks they had were energy drinks and coffees, I needed juices or teas. I'm not sure if I've ever been to a grocery store with so little selection of cold drinks. Seems to have everything else though.

The store rating is a five, but the pharmacy section is kind of low. Everytime I've came and gotten prescribed medications the wait has been very long. Most of the time I've waited for like at least an hour. The shortest I've had to wait was 45 minutes for medications. Mind you these were the days where I was in alot of pain. Only plus for them is the friendly employees.

I go there because I just needed some milk or something, by the time I leave I have a shopping cart filled with stuff I may or may not need, and then when I get home I realized I didn't even get the milk I went to Safeway for in the first place. This place gets me everytime lol and they definitely have the best deals on soda pop's.
