Dr. Cannon was kind, and professional in examining my eyes for a medical issue; he diagnosed the problem and called in a prescription for me. He saw me for a same-day appointment, which I really appreciated.

I did my eye exam with Dr. Miranda and she was very professional, patient, and kind. During dilation, she answered a lot of my questions, which brushed my understanding of why a dilation is needed and what exactly it helps with. The overall process was also very streamlined, very little waiting. I would definitely come back for my next exam!

Absolutely loved my experience here. Super professional and efficient. Always nervous getting an eye exam, but made me really comfortable.

Questions & Answers

Do I need an appointment before visiting your clinic?

Occasionally we have a last minute cancellation. It doesn’t hurt to knock on the door and see if we can work you in. Typically our patients will book their appointment online in advance.

What information do patients need to provide before their first appointment?

The doctors at Cannon EyeCare try to get info about any related insurance in advance. This can allow us to look up benefits and facilitate discussion of anticipated cost.

Do you sell contact lenses?

Cannon EyeCare (at Market Optical) (Owner) | Aug 14, 2022

We do sell contacts to our patients. When patients are using in-network vision benefits, we will place the order for you to capture the benefits. For patients not using insurance, we ask them to order from our website. We do not have the staffing to handle contact lens order for people who are not current patients of Cannon EyeCare.

Do you accept 3rd party vision plans?

Insurance we take includes Premera, Regence, HMA, Lifewise, Medicare, Asuris, Bridgespan, and Kaiser Permanente’s PPO plans. Please verify that your vision insurance is actually through one of these companies. WE DO NOT ACCEPT 3rd party vision plans such as VSP, Eyemed, Davis, or Spectera due to unreasonable contractual requirements. We do, however, have many patients with these insurances. We make it easy for our patients to self-submit Out-Of-Network claims after paying out of pocket on the day of service. A routine glasses exam costs $195. Contact lens fittings are an additional $90-130 in most cases. Best to you, and thanks for the useful question, Dr. Mark Cannon
