Very cozy bookstore with a nice coffee shop on the side. The inside of the store is much larger than it appears and even houses a small art gallery.

Adorable bookstore with a really good in-store coffee spot.

I was a little surprised to see that I hadn’t already written a review of Taylor Books since it’s one of my favorite places in Charleston. This is a great independent bookstore with a nice selection of new and used books, interesting art installations, and a solid coffee bar.

It is a large area with a coffee shop, sitting areas, art gallery, and a huge selection of books. We were there on a Sunday and the place stayed busy.

They still have a really nice gallery and if you go in it looks like there is a place where one can put ink to canvas. Great place!
No, they may have a selection of second hand books, but plenty new. It is a lovely bookstore with a large selection overall!
Possibly. They had a lot of classics, both new and used.
It's a private business, they're allowed to refuse service. Why was someone with the flu visiting a crowded cafe?
Ok this showed as a question but seems more like a Statement. The time I was in here everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. I was from another state so they only had one shot to make an impression and that was of a nice place with many things to explore like art, books, great food and drinks and downtown history. Sorry if intelligent styled establishments seems pretentious.
Yes
Yep but no answer
Yes they do have a working phone but their router has been acting weird
Ok thanks...ive been trying to call today .they must be closed
Closed Thanksgiving Day, open 9 am Friday morning the 23rd.
Are you the creator? They are very local minded. Call Dan or go see him and bring your art. Who knows? The used book store may sell comics - I know I've seen graphic novels there.
No, sorry. However, we could possibly order something for you.
No, sorry. We don't purchase art.
I don't think I understand the first question, but our teas are from the company The Republic of Tea.
I think any bookstore would allow and encourage you doing that. How can customers decide to buy without turning a few pages first? Especially after we have paid for the coffee.
We have a used book exchange program. When you bring in your books we give you a credit ( only for the books of yours that we choose ) that you can use in the used book room. Books we don't accept are donated.
At this moment, they have Canaan valley and wolf creek.
