Updated 01/01/22 (Yes Cooperare has been and is aware of all of this since October of 2020.) added photos of a "Christmas dinner" and the moldy washers residents have to use to wash clothes in. as well as photos of the real food they serve VS whats advertised on the website. I CANNOT and will not eat the food here. There is not a juice machine or coco machine. My mother is supposed to be on a special diet that they have not adhered to since admission. Jail food tastes better than what they serve and I wish I was joking. We are spending an additional $400. a month in groceries. We are also aware that the housekeeping and maintenance man and probably who ever else not kitchen trained helps cook food for residents. Last I checked you needed a Serve Safe Certificate to handle food for customers and I doubt the maintenance guy has his. but maybe im wrong. The staff walk the halls crying every single time we visit nearly yelling...THATS NOT MY JOB!!!! and crying. Twice in one day my last visit. this is not a favorite place to work i dont care what the sign by the door says. they have unvaccinated employees working for them. The staff member said it from thier own mouth and its not second hand info. Look up look up look up. You can see the water damages and mold in guest bathrooms and around most vents and fire sprinklers. Moms shower has to be kept closed because the pipes smell like feces constantly, Its FOUL. Since April 2021 we have asked for the toilet paper dispenser to be fixed, now we use a stand and a bucket. Update 9/2/21 moms wedding rings and 2 other rings stolen. Demoted to one star. Things are just not going well. Move in and paper work was the easy part. They made everything so easy with the transition for mom . They took care of getting the records and the stuff. That alone took a big chunk off my plate once mom decided to move. They do some good stuff and I appreciate all of it. Going through some issues at the moment, Like theft. There a few rock stars on staff but I would suggest during this time of transition maybe to look else where until this resolves. Will change my review once things have gotten better or maybe worse depending what happens this week. I hope I can change this to 5 stars. My mom has greatly improved in her strength and fitness since being here qnd that is the biggest thing is for us and her. she has made good friends here. They are good at getting mom drs. appointments. 'm greatful for this. Something you can't put a price on ; is being able to get healthier. I believe truly that her health has improved greatly since moving in. She enjoys living here. But some things are less enjoyable. The food is canned not chef made . There's other things too but we will see on those. I dont want to run them over or into the ground. Not bad people here. Nothing has ever been taken out of moms place. I feel good about that!. Short staffed lately. Caregivers, maintence and housekeeping are in the kitchen helping to cook I guess becuase of lack of kitchen staff? But its all canned/bag/box food at the moment if you dont mind that I suppose it doesn't matter. Will update later. I hope I can upstae this to 5 stars soon!!

We were shopping assisted living for my dad during the middle of this pandemic. Tyler was amazing, helpful and full of information. I got the feeling they were really there to help seniors. We had shopped other places in the DFW area that it did not feel like this. I want to encourage you if you are shopping for a place for an aging parent to include Rockridge on your list. I am very grateful for all the help, knowledge and assistance they provided me and my dad.

While I never had the opportunity to move a family member into Rock Ridge, I was impressed with their facility and the time that Tyler took with me in showing me all of the available options. He was kind, compassionate and didn't ever make me feel like he didn't have time for me. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs assisted living.

I visited this Facility in my search for potential living quarters, for my Mother-in-Law. I was warmly greeted by an Associate, asked a few brief questions and then taken on a tour of this facility. This retirement center was clean, brightly lit, well maintained and fresh. There are several options for sizes and arrangements of different living quarters, a good number of activities and other opportunities provided by this Living Center! I highly recommend you visit this establishment in your quest for living arrangements for yourself or a loved one.

Yes they have apartments and studios. All have kitchenette.
There is a nonrefundable move in community deposit of 2500. Then for lowest level services depending on parents needs starts at 4k. Per month. You get alot . but it is NOT as nice as pictured. but it doesn't smell like human waste when you walk in either.
For what, pray tell
