We suggest drivers be at least 13 years of age or older. However, we simply require drivers to be 5ft tall to operate the karts.
Eli, These are Adult sized karts. We recommend drivers be between 5-6.5ft tall and under 280 lbs. That being said, people are "built" differently and if you are unable to fit we will issue a refund.
Joshua, Our rental Karts get up to 45 mph. We supply all the gear. You just need to be 5ft tall and wear closed-toe shoes.
We do offer designated practice times where individuals bring their own karts. We place slower karts in separate run groups. We do require karts to tech their vehicles before going out. This link to our webpage may help: https://www.pittrace.com/karting-leagues-practice
Yes, We do recommend pants just in case a rock gets kicked up by the kart in front of you. But if you're in first place you don't have to worry about that :).
