I love Qdoba Grill, I really do. It is convenient, healthy, and offers more options than its competitor Chipotle. I like to let the food speak for itself when it comes to reviewing but sometimes the service throws me off balance, like most times I choose to eat here. This is in regards to my most recent experience, where I just felt secondary after purchasing my burrito. When I entered the store, there was no line and two employees behind the counter. It took a couple minutes for the food person to come over to me and he just Really seemed like he disliked his job. I have encountered some characters at this location, but this one by far is the most memorable. After telling him my order, he proceeded to prepare it at snails speed. I admire his attention to detail when serving out the portions, but there was a clear hint of passive aggressiveness as he slowly started to add more than necessary to the burrito and moved at an even slower pace. Half way through the process, the other employee who was working the tills noticed his friend in line behind me and tended to him immediately. He ended up moving past me and finished his friends transaction before my burrito even had cheese on it. The other employee then tended to the rest of the line, which was now building up, while I watched this employee move with such disrespect for my time and others. He began piling the toppings on the burrito, way too much for the burrito to handle, and watching him try and fold the burrito was hilarious. After folding the burrito for nearly 2 minutes, he ripped the tortilla because there was Too Much Filling and proceeded to get a new tortilla. Once he came back with the half warmed tortilla, I told him it was fine and he responded “I already warmed it up” and then gave me the MOST aggressive eye roll I have seen from a food service worker in a while and out of pure terror, told him it was fine. He then proceeded to dump the contents into the new tortilla and wrap it into a cohesive burrito. It then got to the point where the other employee was trying to speed him up and started to put the lids on my sides. After paying for my sad burrito, I even got an annoyed side glance from the customer behind me, probably because of how long it took to finish my order. I left feeling anger, shame, and other emotions I don’t commonly feel after purchasing food from Qdoba or any other food place for that matter. I sincerely hope that the manager(s) see this review and have a sincere talking to this employee about customer service. I understand how difficult it is to work in retail/food service but this was uncalled for.

Newly remodeled. Excellent breakfast burritos. Way too crowded at lunch time though.

The place is lit and the food is decent. I would recommend it for a quick bite. This place is more like a 3.5.. The food is delicious although the portions are slightly smaller. The Dunked Yardbird taco is the best!
