They can check to see if you have apple care or not. Even if you don’t, they will see if they can either fix your phone or order you another. They will let you know the cost. They have great customer service. Good luck my friend.

I drive past the Apple store multiple times a week and they have a lot of security out front to maintain order. I always see customer's inside the store but believe only a certain amount allowed in at a time. I would call and speak with the store manager to let him/her know how you were treated.

It's only by appointment but you can schedule it online and there are alot of time slots. They have it setup very well so your not waiting long at all.

To be honest I would actually call apple and get a quote. I had them to quote me on an iPod touch battery by calling the main number. If you do want to visit the Greene store you can. But you will need to make an appointment on the website first. They are more than likely going to send it in to put in a new battery. It can take a week or two to get your item back. I have done repairs with Beats headphones this way. That is my experience. Price wise it may be cheaper to buy a new phone. To replace the iPod touch battery runs around $99.

Are they set up to sync to your itunes on your computer? Because that can be switched so your backup is on tbe icloud. Google your qhestion and you should be able to troubleshoot fairly easy. Or go to the apple store and they will help.
