Prospective buyers of 520 West 28th Street beware - in my personal experience living in this building, I feel the management (Related) has little regard for their unit's quality or tenant safety. While I have overlooked the building's delay in completing contracted punch list repairs, I cannot ignore their blatant disregard of some serious leaks within our apartment. I have been reporting recurring leaks since fall of 2021, which has yet to cease. After nearly half a year's worth of excuses as to why they could not possibly repair the leak, the ingenious building management came up with a solution of installing several hoses from our ceilings that drip into garbage pails. Even as these pails fill with filthy water that bears the appearance and stench of pond scum (photos attached), the management remains unresponsive and uncommitted to fixing the leaks that plague our home. It has become clear that the management cares little for their residents.
