I stopped into Long Tail Knits and had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Jeaninne. I told her that I worked with seniors and she offered many ways that we could utilize her business. She even went as far as to gift the community several of her Twiddle Muffs for our Memory Care residents! She was very kind and helpful, and the store itself was very colorful and inviting!

One of the best local yarn stores in the area by far!!! The owner is so kind and helpful - she is always willing to help me find a yarn or a pattern to go with my project. The prices are great and the variety of yarn available is amazing. I like to go in and just look at all the yarn to soothe my soul.

Your safety is important to us. Face masks are mandatory. 1. DO NOT come to the store if you are sick. That means DO NOT COME TO THE STORE IF YOU ARE SICK! 2. Governor DeWine has issued mandatory wearing of a face covering (mask) effective July 10, 2020. You will not be allowed into the store without one. If you have a medical reason for not wearing a face mask, please let me know. 3. Hand sanitizer will be available in the store for you to use. There is a bathroom where you can wash your hands. If you want to wear gloves, that is entirely up to you. Not a necessity. 4. The store will be cleaned at the end of the business day or prior to the opening of the next day of business. The credit card machine will be wiped down after each use.
David, You have a few options: · Standard Flyer & 1x Bobbin (FLYR) - RRP: 57.00 – this is a standard flyer that would come with the wheel. This would have hooks that resemble the ones used to hang cups. · Sliding Hook Flyer & 1x Bobbin (SKU: SHF) - RRP: 114.00 – this is the newer sliding hook (like what is on the Kiwi / Joy).
