I worked with Dr. Mike in the weeks before leaving for college for summer workouts at the University of Oklahoma for football. He did a great job preparing my body and getting my muscles loosened up and ready to go!

A great experience at this place. Friendly welcome by everyone and Dr. Reilly really is a knowledgeable guy and knows what he’s doing. I’ve been to other chiropractors and would be in and out in 10 mins, but here he takes your time with you and sets out a plan to keep your spine healthy! Highly recommend, Dr. Reilly is the man!

What is Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF)?

Joint & Spine Rehabilitation | Nov 7, 2021

Electrical charges inside the cells of our bodies power nearly all our biological activities. From the atomic level to the complex functions of organs and systems, our bodies need an adequate electrical charge for survival as well as to fight disease. We are driven by energy, primarily in the form of electromagnetics. At the cellular level, there are organelles known as mitochondria. These act just like the cell’s batteries. They furnish electrons to fire up the metabolic processes in order to ensure that the body can function optimally and properly. PEMF therapy influences this mitochondria function.

Here at Joint & Spine Rehabilitation, we specialize in laser therapy. We use the 4th Generation Thermal Laser.

Physical therapy treatments range from minor soft tissue manipulation practices to intensive procedures, such as electro-stimulation. For example, if you suffer from soft tissue injuries resulting in pain, for example, you may benefit from ultrasound, myofascial release technique, trigger point therapy, dynamic cupping therapy and therapeutic exercise programs. For joint problems, however, you may require manual joint mobilization to make a full recovery. Most times our physical therapists will combine treatment types, such as class 4 laser therapy and exercise programs, to help their patients achieve complete wellness in a short period of time.

When you attend regular physical therapy appointments, you help your body regain its range of motion while eliminating pain and discomfort occurring throughout your affected bodily structures. Your chiropractor will thoroughly assess your current health condition to determine the best course of treatment for you. While attending the subsequent physical therapy appointments, you will likely notice a slight improvement in your symptoms and ability to move freely without pain. With time, you should be able to make a full recovery with support from your physical therapy team and chiropractor.
