Amazing experience and a HUGE selection of wands

Every Harry Potter fan visiting New York has to stop by the store. Impressive, with a lot of merchandising to bore you. The price like everything in New York, expensive 🤣
APR R
So much to see, and they have a Butter beer bar!!!
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I applied online too! They just received my application but I'm waiting for them to review it though. I can't wait to hear from them.
If you go to their instagram @harrypotterny you will see a story that says "Join Our Team" which will bring you to the page
It's not officially open because I thought the same thing. If you go on their website, you can sign up on their newsletter and they'll give you details about when they'll open.
Tmr June 3rd there officially opening
Most stores in manhattan are open all year
There are no tickets. You have to arrive early to queue in. And once you do you will be notified by a TX
Have to go to the store. It will be better
There is no admission price, something that will surprise you when you finally get inside to see everything. Not completely sure of the hours yet but likely something along the lines of 9am-10pm
They need to do something nice for b'days. Lol
No
No. Not yet
Dragon eggs are Class A non-tradable goods and Dragons themselves are threat level XXXXX and illegal to own. That being said, check the Forbidden Forest area of the store for a plush that may or may not be a real dragon in disguise.
Go on their website, you can sign up on their newsletter and they'll give you details about when they'll open!
THAT
We are leaving from Canada….. we have to be sure and I don't see the answer anywhere are you sure? That would be awesome ☺️
It is a store!! Entry is free, exit is not!!! Haha sure you go out with something 😀
Yes
They have exclusive in-store items so that folks will go in there. It's marketing, nothing more.
Horntail dragon
You will have to rephrase your question as if makes no sense
Having a VR slot is basically like having a golden ticket. You can skip the line/wait.
Day in week you don't have to take a shift you enter normally, on weekends you have to arrive very early it gets too crowded and scan the QR follow the instructions and they send you a message when it's your turn
Yes, we scanned today at 9 and waited 2 hours, perfect for having lunch.
I had tried in their online site but haven't see the option.
I wasn't asked for vaccination documentation when I was there
Wear a mask and you will be fine.
Depending on your budget. W is the closest. Then there is the moxy
Depends on how your budget is. There's always the W on15 and park ave. Then the moxy on 3rd Avenue and 11th street
No appointment is required. Its like walking in any other store
No, And I didn't see any signs for kosher food. Or signs by a rabbit
Just went yesterday and walked right in. Probably more crowded on the weekends.
Right now due to certain weather conditions. At present there is no QR code
Outside the store you can book. It Will let you Know how Many People are in front of you. They send you a notification before you turn. So u need to be near the store. Good luck
I've been there for shopping for stuff
Scan on a Friday, walk in Tuesday for me. Staff said its busy on weekend, not on weekdays, so it varies.
The most I saw in store was 2xl but the web site offers more.
Not checking vaccination card, as of now. Masks are mandatory. It is a good idea to keep vaccination card handy as NY has started to make it mandatory.
Yup. Scan.. Wait.. And spend lots of money like I did. It's a cool place to visit while in the city.
No, the wait times have gotten much shorter
I am aziz in Morocco ... I love israelien. Welcome to Morocco
I believe so, it was fully booked but ask before you show up maybe they'll have cancellations?
I'm not sure about internet shopping but you can go into the store
I think so you can because it's always crowded
None, it's free, but the prices in the shop are high and in the bar even more (like €7 a beer)
You have 1 hour
Yes almost anything. I think they have a few exclusives for in store customers but almost everything is online.
There is a QR code to scan in front of store from early in the day until the maximum amount of people they can handle is reached, then they remove the QR code~
You DON'T have to pay. If there's a lot of people, they'll make you enter a virtual lane in your phone. If this happens, you'll need to wait until there's space inside the store. You can go anywhere (you don't wait just standing on a lane) but be sure to come back as soon as you get their text saying that it's your turn.
The early to go the better chance you have to get in early. Also the early to get in the better chance you have at getting the store exclusive wand.
From what I saw only through the QR you can get an appointment to enter. I arrived at 7:40 am and I had the 92 card. About 150 people enter per shift, so at 10am when they open I could enter. Important: you cannot reserve a time slot, depending on the time you arrive, they assign you what time you enter
The vr experience is supposed to open this week.
Not from what I've seen. I had been taking the subway all day.
I scanned around 9a for 4ppl. Our turn came up around 4p
Probably not any time soon. Still very busy.
To work there? Or to visit? They don't when you visit idk about working
Nah, the only payment is getting there hours early abd waiting around for your time slot.
The day we went if you got there late to scan the QR code (10am like us) you weren't going to get in until after 7pm, and if you came after 11am you weren't getting in at all. So get there early, enjoy the city, and most importantly clear your schedule.
Keep in mind you need to be at the store before 9 am to scan a QR code for a place in line to get inside ,R train to 23rd street from times Square is much quicker , then a 3 minute walk to the store
One person scans, I think they allow small strollers since it's always full
One person can scan 1 code for the entire party. Strollers are accepted but really hard to get around with.
For my first time, I spent 2 hours but I was engaged in the scavenger hunt so I didn't get to experience everything in the store. I had to come back the 2nd time to experience what I missed out. So I'd say 2 hours is a decent amount, and it goes by quickly because you're having tons of fun
It's free. You just get there. You scan a QR code with your CEL and they send you a message when you have to enter. What if you pay is everything inside
No it's permanent. Remember it's a brand new store. Everyone wants to go. Have to get there by 7:00am. This you get in.
I have seen a dog in the store before, that being said it was a very small dog that was in a carrier the whole time. Im sure they would make exceptions for service animals though
No, unfortunately not. This is all done by virtual query. It will be like this until 13 jue
Not over the phone, no. But you can buy some things online. However there are about 250 items that can only be purchased at the location
Virtual queue opens at 7am.
Metered parking on the street but in the area about a block or two from the store.
There are two elevators that will get to the multiple floors, and the entrance is flat. Inside seems wide enough to navigate. Counter at cafe might be a bit too high but Im sure they'll accommodate. I did not use restrooms so not sure about that specifically.
As someone who works here, they are currently hiring however only for select positions. If you go to the @harrypotterny instagram page, you will see a story on the right that says "Join Our Team". That will bring you to the application page where you can keep checking for updates if they dont have a position you are looking for
I went june 5. Scanning qr at 9:30am got us in around 5pm (ymmv! as the line is virtual theres no real way to know how many people are in front of you) Not a long line for butterbeer but it moves fast and is worth it. (Maybe ten people in front of us and we were through in five mins)
No
No. There have QR code it there a line
That's not until July still working on this. Sorry
Harry Potter New York will be open from 10am – 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am-7pm on Sundays.
Yes and no .It open office June 3. But if there a line they will QR code to scan.
Harry Potter New York opens on June 3rd.
They open in June
No, but when I went, they were requiring everyone to wear a mask (unless you were at the Butterbeer room!
The store is still under construction and is not open to the public yet.
It is told that it's supposed to open on June 3rd.
Not yet. Probably several months away
Today was the opening day
Go on their website, you can sign up on their newsletter and they'll give you details about when they'll open.
It was never open. Go on their website, you can sign up on their newsletter and they'll give you details about when they'll open.
Sadly, no one knows. Go on their website, you can sign up on their newsletter and they'll give you details about when they'll open.
It will open in 2021
Best option in NY-find the garage near the store or simply come on Sunday when meters are not in effect🙂
