What is not understood about line striping is that it has been done since roads and cars became synonymous with American Life. Lines , and road markings such as crosswalks and stop bars, are installed at night -- the vast majority of the time 90%+ -- because traffic is lightest at that time and crews can work without impeding the flow of traffic. Roads are designed to keep traffic moving, and maintaining them has to be done at a time when traffic is flowing at a minimum. Consider the lines on the road, very few of us do. Without them, driving would be exponentially more dangerous. Perhaps the work is inconvenient for a brief time when they are working near your home, however it has to get done and we all experience the crews coming by our homes at some point. I'm glad that someone is out there making sure the lines I rely on to drive safely are maintained. Thank you, Safety Marking Inc.
