I took my wife here for her birthday dinner. Let me start by saying I like Applebee's, especially their ribs but unfortunately this has to be hands down the worst Applebee's I've ever been to in my Life. My wife and my kids and I sat there for 40 minutes without anyone ever coming and getting our drink order. And they were not busy at all there were exactly five other groups of people eating, three people at the bar another two families and my family. That's everybody that was in the restaurant eating. After waiting for 40 minutes I went to try to find somebody to take our drink orders, attempting that for 10 minutes but nobody was coming out to the bar( figured that be the best place to go to get my drinks considering there were no waitresses on the floor and I seen the bartender a few times go from the back of the restaurant to the bar and back to the back.) As I'm attempting that a waitress finally went to the table where my wife was waiting and started to take our drink orders. My wife come and let me know but by then I was so frustrated I decided to leave. I would not recommend this Applebee's to my enemy (maybe my worst lol) let alone family and friends. if you're looking for good food and good service don't waste your time here.

Star was our waitress and she did such an amazing job here at Tappahannock Va Applebees… we had a big table of 10 people. And she catered to all of our needs in a great manner, on time and with great effort! She was polite.. and knew the menu like the back of her hand when we had a few questions! The food was hot!! And the drinks were amazing! Because of you Star (our waitress) the cook, and two other waitress that helped and because of the cleanliness of the establishment I rate you all 5 stars! Keep up the great work! 3/11/2022

Ordered steak that was over cooked. It was also a terrible cut off meat. Could barely eat half. Mentioned it to waitress. Also had a gift card. Both items were brought to manager. She was too lazy is just didn't care enough to do much about either. Told waitress to take our names and we would receive a 15% discount next time. Would have preferred a conversation instead. No plans to return. Waitress was very nice though.
