There’s the main paved bike path with boardwalks, and there are branching dirt paths as you go from Medlock Park to Mason Mill Park. There are the remains of Decatur waterworks covered in graffiti you can explore. Also both parks have playgrounds.

One of my favorite trails in the area! The main walkway is either paved or on a boardwalk or bridge. It goes through a lot of woodsy areas, and the shade is nice. There's a little bit of elevation change, but not too challenging! Trail connects to tennis courts and also Lullwater preserve near Emory. I always park at the Medlock park parking area, and it can get pretty busy on weekends near the baseball fields but I always manage to find a spot! The construction on one of the bridges has finished, so the entire walkway is now connected.
