Tax office is not very well run. I had not received notices from them, and when I asked why, was told that I should keep my address up to date. I pointed out that I was holding a tax bill I downloaded with the correct address, and why was mailed correspondence suddenly changed to the property address. The reply was "I don't know". The clerk insisted that they had a different address even when I told them I was holding the paper with the correct address, then finally admitted to "an appraiser, who is no longer with us, must have changed it"! Since the failure to receive notices cost me additional charges in penalties, I'm wondering if they have no incentive to contact the taxpayer, and perhaps earn revenue from that?

I register my car here one day but I needed emissions. I was told I'd get a 30 day tag if failed. Go back the next day to the same lady with failed emissions paper, at first it seemed fine. Until she read what she written the day before, stating I couldn't receive a temporary tag until I get emissions". Did everything that she said this lady still wouldn't help. Then gets a so called manager who came and had no real clue of what was going on, and still didn't help. And the worst part was she had another employee sitting next to her who knows she was wrong and still wouldn't help or correct her.. Worst place ever.

Today is September 14th 2022. Racist manager. Rude employee, i regret that i moved from Virginia to a racist county. She need to get more training to know how to threat customer. Maybe one of her family just put her there without earning the spot. Because someone like that should be working in warehouse where she doesn't have to deal with people.
