I would just like to say that before 9/11 happened you didn't need an appointment to go to the IRS. Everybody this is the world we now live in so yes anything to do with the government you must make an appointment so don't get so caught up in all the bad mouthing the people who work there because they are only human and have a job to do just like we do.
