They are wonderful when you need any kind of help at all they have always been there for me n my loved ones. I've never had any bad experiences when dealing with them even when I didn't have all my paper work n was a basket case..they talked me thru it to the very end and found many blessed by all of the people here. Everyone is nice there if your nice to them they treat you with the same respect you give them yes sometimes someone might have an off day but we all do!
Go up there Monday to make sure cause the times are different. Maybe around 8 or 9 just to make sure or read the flyer if you can go up there today. You can walk ahead of the people that's standing cause you're needing help with utilities. 😉
They have a homeless shelter hut the City Rescue Mission also has one.
What do I need to do to get into the salvation army I am needing a place to stay while I try to get a job in okc bc I am homeless and just need to know what I need before I go there

If you're looking for information on all that and you can't get in touch with them they open up between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday be up there and go in there and talk to him but make sure you have two bills like electric and water and your ID they're getting pretty strict about all that now

The food pantry is not open every day. They are only open on Monday Wednesday and Fridays..... Wednesdays 9 to 11 and then Wednesday afternoon 1 to 3.... I believe

They have a single women dorm a family and children dorm and a single men dorm
As long as you live in Canadian County we welcome you and try to assist. We do refer people to check locally first to aide in their need. For Yukon it would be Compassionate hands, Yukon sharing or 211 can provide a more extensive list. There are documents you must bring with you before beginning the process. Although, we try to have office open doing regular hours it isn't always possible so it is always a good policy to call first.
They provide utility and grocery assistance. They do give bus tokens out when available. They have a dining room that feeds outside guest and they have a shelter.
