Five stars for my experience with Lyndsay Mangeri, her medical assistant (forgot her name, sorry!), and really all of the office staff that I interacted with — from needing to schedule an appointment pretty urgently after a trip to the ER, all the way to checking out after my appointment. THANK YOU for putting me at ease (and actually remedying what brought me to the ER) after a severely stressful, unexpected, and emotionally draining week!

Do NOT go to this office. I’ve had 2 appointments there now. I had no issues my first time. But then my pharmacist went to call in a refill which the office did not respond to. Then I received my prescription only to find out the doctor switched my birth control that I was on for 2+ years without my consent and without telling me. Since they waited so long to re fill my order I was forced to take the new medicine with no time to fix it. I had AWFUL side effects. I asked to be sent a script for my old medicine and was charged $189 for it. I called and the receptionist was beyond disrespectful, I wish I remembered her name. She not only hung up on me, but had me on speaker phone while I was discussing personal issues about tests I had done so the whole office could hear. She told me I should be “smarter next time” when picking up my medicine from the pharmacy to make sure it’s right. And that the doctor messing up my medicine was “human error”. Can’t say enough bad things about this place.

I just started seeing Mary Adamson and she’s amazing. It’s too bad she’s retiring at the end of this month, she made me comfortable and grateful for information especially since this is my first pregnancy. There was no awkward tension like I’ve had with most doctors, she explained what she was doing and how I can make my pregnancy better. When I’ve called to ask a question, I usually hear back within the hour if not sooner.

Did you find someone to take you? Does your mom know you are pregnant? ----Planned Parenthood has better hours. They are option several nights until 6 pm and on Saturdays. In Ohio, a minor can get basic gynecological care and counseling without a parent, but other things require parental input. I'm sure Northeast OBGYN would encourage you to bring your mom, but they shouldn't require it unless you are seeking to terminate. You definitely need support with this. Please get into Planned Parenthood or this office as soon as possible.
