Be ready to pay out the wazoo for a room here, but if you have an early reservation to the Spy Museum, then this hotel is a good choice. It's located next to museum, a one-minute walk. Breakfast is extensive and expensive, but I felt I got what I needed, which was a breakfast so large I wouldn't want to break away from the Spy Museum for midday meal. If you buy full breakfast and then request specially prepared scrambled eggs, they will accommodate you without an attitude, which is how an expensive first-class hotel should behave. I recommend this hotel if you're willing to pay the price without remorse. Avoid a car and use DC metro. Parking is a pain in the neck and a drain on the wallet. Any vehicle over six feet won't fit. You'll bump your head getting out of your car in the parking garage. No joke.
