We strolled in and the place was cozy, filled with beautiful yarns, wool and other products. The proprietor was friendly and congenial. My bride found some yarn she loved and we carried on. Very nice store with exceptional service!

Great variety & customer service, beautiful, quality yarns. Reasonable prices, lots of variety & help with selections. My favorite local yarn store!

I went in to Quintessential Knits last week and was helped by a very nice lady I was looking for a specific type and shade of yarn (she also tried to help me find a sock pattern but we didn't have luck but that is not what this is about). I got a different shade of yarn much darker than I had wanted for the project, I had mentioned that it was my first time in and I was apprehensive about the dark color but would take it and see if it was going to work. After some more thought and looking at my pattern again I realized that the yarn was much to dark to show off the intricate stitching and it just wasn't the color I was looking for. I went back in to the store yesterday to return the yarn and perhaps see if they could get the yarn I wanted in the color I wanted (or anything close would have worked also). Once I got to the counter I was told that the return policy is store credit only. I was directed to a small sign taped to the point of sale that was half hidden behind other items on the counter. The sign did clearly state the return policy. My frustration is that the person helping me knew I wasn't familiar with the store, knew I was apprehensive about the color, but still failed to mention the "return" policy. I am now stuck with a credit at a store that I will have to use, they don't have the color of yarn that I want for the project, the lady looking up to see if they could order it suggested I come back and talk to the owner to see if she knew of a yarn that would work. She kept mention other local yarn stores to check out to see if they had what I wanted, but I let her know multiple times that I had to get it from their store since I was stuck with a credit there. I will have to go back and use my store credit, I am very unhappy but I will not let them just keep my money.

This is a very helpful and friendly shop. They have a wonderful selection of yarn, patterns and accessories. this should be a must stop for any knitter in the area!

I do have woolstok, I will have to look and see if I have that specific color.
We have a fair amount of cotton, hemp, linen, cashmere and silk. We also have some soy. If it is sheep wool that is a problem we also have yak, alpaca and bison. Hope that is helpful!
