Where to start? The store is always so cluttered. The wait to check out is ridiculous. The employees are always rude when you ask for assistance because they are to busy gossiping. I can never seem to catch the manager at work (morning or night). I have done plenty of surveys and nothing seems to change, next step corporate.

The dollar general in caledonia has a well stocked freezer and most any grocery item you need. When I'm in town it's one of only two grocery stores and is convenient for a quick in and out. Today we were looking for camp chairs for an upcoming camping trip. Didn't find the kind we were looking for but no one else has them either. Kinda cluttered but otherwise no complaints.

This store gotten carried away about cigarette sales Dont get me wrong, its great they r checking id's, but they r going to the extreme When the employees know u because u come in on regular basis and look well over age 18 & refuse to sell u a pack of cigarettes They even refused to sell them because driver license was expired & they know u are of age & seen id already that day is CRAZY. This usually depends on the cashier. Some of them use their common sense. Nobody gives you such a hard time for not using common sense. Others & I have been going to family dollar due to this ignorance. If corporate only knew how much money they loose from ignorance, they might have a different rule on checking id's. I am going to family dollar more often now, they will even match prices.
