My kids had a blast at this playground its really cool. There's so much to do! Cant wait for the Easter event! Take your kids here you will all enjoy this park. Very nice walking trails too.

This park is amazing in so many ways. This is pickleball central, with 6 courts, often packed from 9am-noon. They also have great tennis courts, and plenty of open space for movies and concerts in the park, which happen all summer long by Bainbridge Island Metro Parks & Rec District. Spend some time walking around the trail, or set up some time up for your kids in the Transmitter Building, where they offer "Open Play" in their youth gymnastics gym.

The new park is beautiful. They thought of everything and it's different from any other park in the area, which is nice. Our kids have a great time there. If you're not on the island, it's worth the drive.

Spacious community park with a little bit of everything, and a few things most parks don't have. The playground was under construction when I visited (early April.) The soccer/ultimate/lacrosse/etc complex is massive. They even have tennis courts with pickleball nets (small court with short nets played with paddles) and a roller hockey rink! Very eclectic. I believe the bathrooms are closed right now but there are port-o-potties on site. Olympic Otter

Nope
If your dog is well behaved it can run around the open fields off leash in areas like the frisbee golf course. On the path you should keep it on leash to make sure it doesn't scare other dogs or something. Also you are expected to bag any poop, however they do provide bags at the trailhead.
Assuming the tree is in the community garden - Id try calling the Park District office at 842-2306. I doubt theyd give you any gardeners personal contact info but they will have more information about the community garden program.
No camping at Battle Point Park. There is camping at Fay Bainbridge Park on the North East side of the Island. Nice camping spots and a fun drift wood beach to explore.
