We go back a long way! I got my very first hearing aids from Dr. Connors and loved them. Unfortunately I kept losing them, often in a snowbank during travels. Dr. Connors helped me replace one of them, but the day came when I lost both.Life got very busy when I retired and grandbabies came along. Then the pandemic found us sheltering in place far from home. Finally it became possible to get new hearing aids, and impossible not to do so! I had even learned to set the television to a clear speech setting, which helped. ( Otherwise you keep getting blasted by the ominous background music if you turn up the volume trying to hear the dialogue) Still, the mid-range sounds were lost to me. I couldn’t follow family conversations either; I started to feel stupid, and people give up or become irritated with me. My family was so relieved when I got my sturdier in-ear aids…until one of them fell out twice in three days. Dr. Connors sent that one back for modification and got it back to me really fast. I’m hopeful this will work, and confident she can help me if future help is needed. I could have gone to another provider when we were away from home, but I wanted Dr. Connors, whom I respect greatly for her knowledgeable, compassionate and professional services.
