Convenient location, I commute into DC by blue line on weekends. My concern is the metro station doesn’t have “security door” at the platform area between each train comes. Hopefully they can add that in the future for security reasons. 🧐 The daily parking fees is a pain if you parking your car there. 😕

Screen in main area of the station still does not work after the shut down. When will the Kiss and Ride area open? The area outside of the station is extremely dangerous during rush hour.

I hope this answer helps. There is a Dash bus that goes down Eisenhower Ave toward the Eisenhower Sta. I'm not sure of the bus number.

To anyone who uses this station regularly: Are there seats available when the metro arrives or does it usually fill up at Franconia (during morning weekday rush hour)?

There are usually always seats available. It is better to go to the back or front of the train versus the middle which is more crowded.
