I was interested in ordering Bird of Paradise for delivery in Atlanta so I stopped in Rutland Beard in Ruxton to see if I could accomplish the task. My preference is to support small local business owners if at all possible. In this case I was doing just that. I explained what I wanted which had Bird of Paradise as the center piece. I was shown a web page from which to choose pre-determined arrangements none of which had Bird of Paradise. I again said my interest is in Bird of Paradise. It was suggested that I purchase the "designers choice" with a minimum price of "$125.00 ". I was assured the designer choice arrangement may not have Bird of Paradise it it, nor when asked, was there any indication of what the arrangement might have. While I appreciated that honestly, I asked if a photo could be sent to me with the design. I was told the recipient could send the photo. That is, the photo would be sent to me after it is arranged and delivered. I wasn't certain I was understanding correctly. I asked: am I understanding you would like me to make a minimum of a $125.00 purchase for delivery without any indication of how that purchase would look or what that purchase might contain in terms of flowers? Yes, I was told. None of this communication was soft or engaging in any way - quite the contrary. The message was more of , "that's the way it is done- take it or leave it". None-the-less, I knew I wanted Bird of Paradise. Soooo I went home, googled Bird of Paradise to be delivered in Atlanta. I phoned two florist in Atlanta with great ratings. I immediately spoke with someone who was extremely helpful, served as a liaison between me and the designer, confirmed they will have the Bird of Paradise delivered to them in the morning, will make an arrangement of six Bird Of Paradise with whimsical greens and a box of gourmet chocolates for delivery tomorrow in Atlanta and will send me a photo. Thank You Hall florist of Atlanta! It was a pleasure working with you by phone today. Clearly the customer, recipient and order mattered to you. There was no "take it or leave it" attitude. You are a gem. !

The delivery came 2 days early but that’s okay because I’d rather it come early than late! They were beautiful and fresh, looked exactly like the picture. Will absolutely use them again!

Great experience! The bouquet was even more beautiful than the photos on the website.

The arrangement that was ordered was definitely not the arrangement I got for my grandmothers funeral. I spent money for something so special for her from myself and my children and we got what looked liked it was just thrown together with left over flowers from another arrangement. Waiting to get a response from an email I sent The photo on left is what was received and the photo on the right is what I ordered. Very sad and upset by this.

Nothing beats flowers and balloons to brighten a hospital room! We will deliver a beautiful bouquet or green plant to the front desk at the hospital. A hospital employee or volunteer will take it from there. Check with us about sending hospital flowers to find about ICU and patients who have been discharged policy.

Yes, we deliver our beautiful roses to all areas in Ruxton, MD.
Of course we can…with a little anticipation! Be sure you give us a daytime phone number for the person receiving the flowers. Two phone numbers, a work number and a cell number, are twice as nice! Let us know when ordering or put a note online in the Special Instructions section of the order to let us know it’s a secure area or building. Some facilities will allow delivery to a gate guard or main office, so let us know if that’s an option.
Absolutely! Sympathy arrangements take priority . If you say, for example, “memorial service at 11:00 AM,” we’ll make a special effort to deliver the arrangement the day before or early in the morning.
We will, but usually we’d rather not. Hot sun, wind, freezing temps, dogs and cats can wreak havoc on your gift very quickly. Of course, we’ll honor your request if you let us know or put a note online in the Special Instructions section saying “please leave it at the door if no one is at home.” Or if the shop has contacted the recipient and knows they will be home soon, they might make an exception.
It depends on what you prefer! Usually we instruct delivery drivers to bring the flowers back to the shop for safekeeping. If you prefer that we leave your gift with a neighbor, just let us know when calling or in the Special Instructions section online of the order type “If no one’s at home, leave it with a neighbor.” In either case, the recipient will be notified with a message on the door or a voice mail from the florist.
We can't guarantee it, but we'll do our best! Just add a note in the Special Instructions section online or tell us when calling in. For example, say "deliver before 3:00 PM, she leaves work then." That way the driver will know to make it a priority.
