At the Parkway site, I fully appreciate having almost a "one-stop" drop-off site for motor oil, cooking oil, batteries, CFL bulbs, ink cartridges and many other electronic and hazardous items - and more so, items found in the re-use hut and free mulch (fines).

Clean facility. It was easy to understand where to pull in and what items go where. The employee was also very nice and helpful.

Great help. Every county should be free to everyone. Maybe everyone would clean up instead of it costing a fortune

Seemingly understaffed or unable to respond to telephone or email inquiries. County of Leon answered promptly. Unable to communicate a missed pickup

Leon County Solid Waste Facility Apalachee Parkway
No
I'm not sure but I would try. I've seen containers with old oil. Go to the large building in the back, past the compost. If they don't accept it they'll probably direct you to the proper place. Great place & people.
No need to separate.
What things and yes you can bring your things there for a one time fee or pay $10. For a month.
Yes, they take both. Follow signs for hazardous waste and electronics.
