The gatekeeper is so so so RUDE! Couldn’t tell if it’s purposeful or she’s just not bright but I won’t bother them ever again because her attitude was so bad. They don’t take insurance. They want 300-400 out of pocket per visit, but when I tried to speak to someone educated in medicine to see if this was the right move as visits tests and supplements add up in cost quickly, she refused to let me. Don’t waste your money on a medical practice like this!!! If they aren’t willing to answer a few basic service questions, they aren’t legit.

I called to inquire about seeing the “holistic” Dr about receiving a medical exemption for wearing a mask. The receptionist was very rude and spoke like she believed I was crazy. Apparently this practice doesn’t believe the hundred of legitimate scientific references saying that masks offer no protection against infectious disease, but there is significant evidence of respiratory interference promoting illness. They are believers of $cience, not science.

I have been seeing Dr Lamson for a few years now. He is brilliant, competent, honest, caring and through. He is truly one of the last of his kind. Dr Lamson has been an amazing support throughout my cancer journey and I feel beyond fortunate to have him on my team. For anyone looking for life long healing...especially for gut health, autoimmune and cancer, he is your answer.

Be prepared to spend thousands of dollars in this place in a very short time. The doctor's rates rival those of attorneys and they try to get you in there regularly. Then they send you next door to their dispensary to spend another $300 or so on supplements. I saw people loaded up with way more than I had; I can only imagine how much they were spending. It is incredibly easy to spend $600 to $800 PER VISIT. Everything is out of pocket, they do not take insurance. At one point, I needed a new prescription for HRT. My doctor REFUSED to give it to me until I had a phone conversation with her. This consisted of her telling me dosages and how to apply it, all of which were on the labels of the prescriptions. For this 13 minute conversation I was charged $89. The office manager said she "went to bat" for me and tried to get me a 10 minute appointment for $60 instead but the powers that be were having none of it and I was forced to pay the higher amount. They literally held my prescription hostage for $89. I was stunned by their greed. They also insist their tests are superior. She had me do a $210 saliva test for hormones, insisting it was better than blood testing. (Search this for yourself; I could find nothing that said saliva tests were superior to blood tests for anything but cortisol.) The $210 was out of pocket, if I'd done blood work, it would have cost me about $25 through insurance. I did another test for allergies, again not covered by insurance and costing $300. The problem is, if you haven't eaten a food for a long time it won't show up as an issue. So, it's really not a terribly helpful test, although it is terribly expensive. I then did a stomach acid (Heidelberg) test because she had it on her list of things to do. After I spent $220 on that, I was told it's not a very useful test. They have ZERO interest in controlling costs. JUST to get my hormones tested and a new prescription was $500. The test was $210, the unnecessary conversation was $89 and the hormones were $195. This after I told my doc I was taking the money I was paying her out of my retirement funds. The most bizarre thing is, the doc now insists and I mean insists I need a vaginal ultrasound before she'll further address my hormone issues. This despite the fact that because of the HRT she has put me on, I now have headaches, insomnia, and severe dry eye. Her rationale for the ultrasound is she needs to "see if there have been changes to my endometrium". Except she has NOTHING TO COMPARE IT TO. She then told me she was sorry, but she can't prescribe me any further hormones until I give her an UP TO DATE vaginal ultrasound, as if that is something you just do yearly, as opposed to a diagnostic tool for things like irregular bleeding. I did find a Swedish study on line that could find no discernible difference in the endometriums of women who were on HRT and those who were not. So, she's telling me to go get an unnecessary ultrasound that will cost me $450, then come see her which will cost me another $300. BEFORE SHE WILL LIFT A FINGER TO HELP ME WITH THE ISSUES THE PRESCRIPTIONS SHE GAVE ME HAVE CAUSED SHE WANTS ME TO SPEND $750. I will give her this. She did diagnose me with candida, which led me to a book called Eat Wheat by John Douillard. The book isn't really about eating wheat, but it does lay out a really good case for the fact that if there are all these foods you can't eat and you used to be able to, it's because you have issues with your entire digestive system which can be addressed. As opposed to the Tahoma Clinic, which promotes the idea that you just need to take HCI for the rest of your life. I really wish I had read Eat Wheat BEFORE I dropped around $3,000 at the Tahoma Clinic. I'm convinced it's just a giant money making machine. Proceed at your own risk. You've been warned.
