I gave my camera in for repair today and even though it would take some time to get an estimate, I decided to look around to see if I wanted another camera body. Brennan was amazing, answered all my questions, gave me advice and was patient with me all throughout. To add to the great experience, I was not once pressured into buying something instantly. More so than often, I have seen stores sell what they have in stock rather than educate their customers and let them make an informed decision. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for cameras, lenses and accessories. The repair (or lack thereof) of my camera won't influence this review because of the great interactions I had here!

10/10 customer service from Cory and Chrispy today. I bought an FTZ mount from here in Feb but didn’t use it until now - was getting a lens error. They helped test it to figure out we had to update the firmware and saved the day! Super patient and gave great advice on how to use my Nikon Z6. Went above and beyond to get me set up - I was super thankful!

I want to like Glazers as a local pro, but it’s just no longer my store. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been a fabulous place to shop over the last decade, but unfortunately the sales team has gone for helpful to misleading and unwillingly to admit their own misinformation. Long story short, I went in to buy a lot of new video gear and was told a specific kit was expandable and I could add single units to the system as my business grew for that particular need. Three weeks later and I’m ready to expand that system! I come in the purchase another unit and am told (by the same salesperson that sold me the gear) that it’s not actually an option to expand the system as originally described. Ok no problem, I can trade you the small kit for the large kit, I’ll even take the 10% restock fee hit, I’m just excited to get the right gear. Nope, they’ll purchase the three week new gear at 55% of retail from me, but I’m not able to trade up. I based the decision to purchase the small kit entirely on the expandability of the system described to me by the salesperson. That salesperson was wrong and they just don’t care. Fortunately in all of this, Amazon has the system I need at $50 cheaper that’s Glazers with next day. Bummed that I’m no longer interested in supporting local. But that’s just how things have played out with Glazer’s inability to grow as a company that supports loyal customers. Best to order from your couch at this point.

They have a fantastic inventory but the staff really could care less about you. They will nod and tell you whatever you want to hear and offered absolutely no feedback or information on whatever you're looking for. The only thing they care about is making a sale which sucks because if I wanted to just buy something I'd order from B&H.

I would recommend calling the store to verify, however it is a huge store and they have tons of items, so if it's a new model you are asking about I would bet that they do have one but ultimately I think it's always best to call and check anything before making a trip.

There is an entire used equipment area on the sales floor with well cared for select items from APS-C to full frame. I believe selling used gear to them may be on a consignment basis and it depends on the item.

The Err message indicates an error in the electronic environment of the camera. It is usually not something that can be corrected without a technician having a good look at the internals. So, the more relevant question is whether Glazer's does service and maintenance of Nikon cameras. I think they do, and I'd advise taking it to them for a repair estimate.
They do, but as suggested, you should probably not drop by and expect them to drop everything and do it then. Best to call and get it scheduled.
